A new report from the International Energy Agency has found that China is on track to build more renewable power plants through 2035 than the US, the European Union and Japan combined. While the fact that China is heavily funding renewable development isn’t exactly news, the reality that it stands to outstrip other countries by such a wide margin should serve as a wake-up call to the rest of the developed world that we can, and should, be doing more.
